Happy Fourth of July! Today started early for me, I was up at 5:30 Am and out to help with the City's festivities. Riverdale has a 5K walk and run that starts around 6:30. Unfortunately, my Police bike's lights wouldn't work all day. After the walk/run, it was time for the parade. Casey and I had fun riding in it and Ashley and the kids came out to watch. Yesterday the Police Dept had it's annual softball game against the fire dept. We won! finally, after about a 4 year losing streak, we finally beat those lazy punks. If we could work out and play softball all day after handling our one call , we'd be pretty damn good at softball too. Lots of pictures were taken, just not with our camera, if you want to see more on the blog, get after Ashley about taking the camera places.

After the Parade, we went to the Funks for a pool party with Tracy and Shane . Mike and Darlene were still out of town in Cabo.
